Now, they’re dancing to the sweetest tunes of love as they exchange vows in a beautiful white wedding ceremony.

Ivie made such a stunning bride, while John looked every bit the dapper groom. Their love radiated through every moment, from their heartfelt vows to the joy that filled the air around them. I met John in Lagos after we were both booked to DJ two different events, same venue, same date, same time… The initial confusion didn’t last long. Our music taste was scarily similar, and I remember being genuinely impressed by his catalogue. What began as a professional collision quickly became a shared musical language. We connected over records, instincts and the kind of details only obsessive DJs tend to notice.
Years later, a conversation outside an Ikoyi nightclub turned that professional connection into a lasting friendship. That chemistry stayed with us long after the night ended, and we’ve spoken every day since. John moves effortlessly between R&B, Afro House and everything that feels right in between, while I’m a genre-bending DJ known for unexpected selections. When it came to our after-party, the expectations were sky-high. We hope we delivered.
