As fate would have it, they met again, and this time, Sijibomi wasn’t about to let the opportunity slip away! He took his chance, and thankfully, love had something beautiful in store for them. Fast-forward to today, and these lovebirds have signed and sealed their forever in an intimate civil wedding ceremony! Sometimes, love begins before you even realise it. Sijibomi first noticed me on a sunny day as I was returning from work. He was rushing out at the time, and I happened to live just a couple of houses down from him on the same street, in the estate where we both lived. I had my dark shades on, and, as he tells the story, the sunlight hitting my skin made it glow. Apparently, that was enough to make me stay on his mind. 😂
He remembered the car I was driving, and a couple of weeks later, he spotted it parked by the roadside just outside the estate. He was stepping out again and decided to pull over to check if I needed any help. I was actually just on a phone call, but that little moment gave him the opportunity to introduce himself and get my contact.

What started as a simple introduction soon became a friendship. We talked, got to know each other, built a genuine bond, and somewhere along the way, that friendship grew into something much deeper. And now, here we are saying yes to each other and choosing to do life together. From that first unexpected encounter to standing together on our wedding day, we’re grateful for how beautifully our story unfolded. 🤍
