Aside from seeing two people fall in love, one thing that truly thrills our hearts is watching them grow in love!  Today, Oluwajoba and Adeniyi are celebrating 10 beautiful years of love, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this special milestone with them.

Over the past decade, these sweethearts have journeyed through love, growth, commitment, and all the little moments that have made their bond even stronger. As they mark this beautiful milestone, we get to catch a glimpse of their love through their anniversary photos, and seeing how far they’ve come is such a delight! They also answered 10 questions from us, sharing lovely insights into their journey, the lessons they’ve learnt along the way, and what has kept their love thriving through the years. Ten years later, what is one thing about your partner that still makes you smile or gives you butterflies?
Hmmm… his care and selflessness, to be honest.

If you could relive one moment from your wedding day, which moment would it be and why?
Our first dance together. Dancing to one of our best songs till now, Timi Dakolo’s The Vow.

What is one thing you’ve learned about love and marriage in these 10 years that you didn’t know when you said “I do”?
Love is an “IMMENSE” sacrifice. I knew that love and marriage involve sacrifice, but the depth of it is what 10 years have taught us.

What is one quality in your partner that has become even more meaningful to you with time?
His Patience and I learn from it every day.

If you had to describe your marriage in three words, what would they be and why?
Helped by God… Faith, Partnership, Laughter.

What is one little thing your partner does that may seem insignificant to others but means so much to you?
He knows exactly what I will find funny, and we can finish each other’s sentences.

Looking back at yourselves 10 years ago, what would you tell the newlyweds you were then?
You are going to go through A LOT… delays, miscarriage, LIFE! But ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT GOD IS FAITHFUL AND HE CAN BE TRUSTED even when you cannot see it yet!!!

What has been your favourite adventure, trip, or experience together over the past 10 years?
The first time we paid for and flew business class on a long flight. We both enjoyed it and are just grateful for how far we have come to be able to afford it.

How have your priorities and expectations of marriage changed since your wedding day?
Funny thing is, my priorities haven’t really changed; they have just deepened over these 10 years. No perfection needed, just two intentional people showing up and choosing themselves over and over again regardless.

As you celebrate 10 years, what are you most excited to experience together in the next 10 years?
This new season with no diaper changing and all the new places we will get to see together with our children. 😀
