Glory Rocked Six Different Looks For Her Wedding & Stunned in All

Hands down, #TheGOUnion21 was many shades of beautiful. Glory was nothing short of breathtaking as she tied the knot with the love of her life. Right from her bridal prep, to her traditional wedding and white wedding, Glory was indeed a stunner. We can’t get over how beautiful she looked in all her outfit and we bet you’d also be blown away.

Glory let the glow radiate as she stepped out in a magnificent silk ball dress from Elizabeth and Lace Bridal. Before this, had slayed a Janeel Couture robe during her bridal prep, looking every inch of the queen that she is. Then it was time for her reception and Glory came through yet again, looking stunning as ever in a Rikato by ME dress. For her traditional wedding, Glory didn’t come to play either. She first stepped out in a regal red dress by Janeel Couture for her wine-carrying ceremony. Then she changed into a stylish George by Ruvero. For her third and final outfit, she stepped out in an all so beautiful asooke, also made by Janeel Couture. In all, Glory proved to be an ultimate stylish bride!

Esther Igbinigie of The Melange Styling gives us an insight into Glory’s styling process and you definitely want to see all she had to say. Keep scrolling to read it all.

At our first consultation, I gathered that Glory had an image in her head of exactly what she wanted to look like. What she needed was someone to collaborate those looks together and make it stand out with class. Styling Glory was the most seamless process I’ve gone through in my time as a bridal stylist.

The great thing was that we both shared the same ‘minimalist’ idea which meant that we got tick off’s on most of our ideas with ease. I often let my brides know – it’s okay to breathe, be seamless, theres so much in the carriage of simplicity and that was the standard we were going for.

Here’s how Glory slayed through her bridal prep.

We started with her traditional outfits where we had to corroborate converting her from an Igbo bride to a Yoruba Queen. We worked with 3 outfits for the traditional wedding which showed the rich exorbitant character she possesses in each of her outfit. She loved each bit of it. Our vision board was literally brought to light by some of the best in the industry.

It was time for the vows and she knew exactly how to serve all the heat, stepping out in this breathtaking silk dress.

I’ll have to say choosing the right wedding dress designer is very important. We took our idea to Elizabeth and Lace Bridal, she understood our vision and executed our brief perfectly. We went in for only 2 dress fittings and we had the perfect wedding dress.

For the reception, the bar was definitely not coming down!

Glory is greatly inspired by Princess Diana and added to her classy look, we decided to throw in a touch of Princess Diana vibes into her bouquet. Whilst wrapping our brains around, we decided to bring in full time the cascading Orchids the Princess carried.

You already know that traditional weddings are part of our cultural heritage, and Glory upholds that in grace and style. For her wine-carrying ceremony, she came through repping the Igbo culture as a true daughter of the soil.

Thanks to Florals and You who was so excited to do a beautiful flower arrangement for us with some fresh orchids mixed with opened lilies. I must say, the late Princess set the trend for an overflowing bouquet look for brides-to-be for years to come. The inspiration for her wedding dress was to look absolutely Timeless and we tried not limit the look to a particular time or date

Her second appearance was also nothing but fire as she came forward with more drip.

Asides from picking the right wedding dress. We had to go for the best kind of make up to suite her look, best type of hairstyle. So, we opted for a simple bun with minimal accessories. We decided to go for only earrings as Glory’s accessories. We wanted her dress to make THE statement but the entire look itself, was a breath of fresh air!

Her final look and Glory knew she had to go out with a bang! This time, she repped the amazing Yoruba culture.
