Their love story as shared by Kingsley:

It all began back in 2015, inside a shuttle bus. I was the driver that day, just doing my job, when I noticed her sitting quietly at the back seat. Something about her caught my attention immediately. I kept stealing glances through the rear view mirror, drawn by a presence I couldn’t explain. When we reached the school gate, I made a choice , I decided to speak up, to engage her in conversation. I asked for her name, and we started talking. That small moment became the first page of our story. I even went a bit beyond my usual route that day, just to keep the conversation going.

Dinma made such a gorgeous bride 😍

From there, we exchanged numbers, became friends, and began building a connection. Back then, we were just friends, careful and casual, as many student friendships are. But there was always something unique about her. We stayed close until I graduated in 2016 and left school. Life, as it often does, took us on separate paths, and for a while, we lost contact. Then came 2020, the year the world stood still. During the COVID pandemic, we reconnected, almost as if the universe had pressed the reset button just for us. This time, things were different. I was deeply focused on my business, determined to build my future, but somehow, she broke through those walls. She taught me how to love again. For the longest time, I hadn’t allowed myself to get close to anyone. My time, my energy, all of it was wrapped up in work. But with her, it was different.

I found myself wanting to talk to her, spend time with her, care for her. We’d talk four, sometimes five times a day. Slowly but surely, I realized this wasn’t just a friendship anymore. I was falling in love. What made her stand out wasn’t just her beauty or her charm. It was her kindness, her humility. From the very first day, when I was “just the driver,” she gave me attention, respect, and conversation , something not everyone would do. She is not materialistic, she never asks for much, and that made me love her even more. She’s a family person , the kind of woman who brings people together. My family met her, my brother got to know her, and before long, we all embraced her as one of us.

It wasn’t just romantic love; it was family love, deep and unshakeable. In May 2022, five days after her birthday, I asked her to be my official girlfriend. She said yes, and from that moment, our story truly took off. We continued building our bond, and eventually, we got married years later on May 10th her birthday a day that forever changed my life. Today, she is my wife, the mother of my unborn children, my life partner, my best friend. She is everything I ever hoped for and more. So, to the world, I say this: This is our love story , one that started with a glance in a shuttle bus mirror, built through friendship, tested by time and distance, and ultimately sealed by love, commitment, and family. I love you, Okeke Chidimma Blessing Esther forever and always.
