People always ask us how we met, and the funniest part is that my husband actually knew me before I knew him. Back in 2023, we officially met in person, but our story started way before that. He had seen a video from my sister’s wedding that went viral, and apparently, somewhere in that video, I caught his attention. From that moment, he followed me and quietly stayed in my DMs like a very determined fan. Now, let me be honest, I was terrible at replying. I would reply today and disappear for the next century. But this man? Hmm, he was very patient, consistent, and dedicated.

At this point, I genuinely believe he deserved an award for perseverance because most people would have given up on me immediately, but he didn’t. When we finally started talking properly, everything felt easy. Our conversations were so natural, so comfortable, like we had known each other forever. He was kind to me in a way that softened my heart without me even realising it. He was patient with me, understanding with me, and somehow always knew how to make me laugh. Slowly, he became my favourite person, and somewhere between the late conversations, the laughter, the patience, and the love he gave me so effortlessly, I realised something very scary and very beautiful… nothing in this world made sense without him anymore. That was when I knew. So yes, ladies and gentlemen, after ignoring this man’s messages for years, I eventually married him. 😭❤️
