Last year, we were swooning over namesakes, Shola and Shola, as they celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary. Today, we’re thrilled to celebrate another beautiful milestone in their journey—their 10th wedding anniversary!

We’re so excited to see how what began with a divinely orchestrated meet-cute in church has blossomed into a decade of love and beautiful memories. As they celebrate ten years of saying “I do,” their anniversary photos offer a beautiful glimpse into the life they’ve built together, and it’s safe to say the past decade has been nothing but a blissful adventure! Some love stories are written quietly by God long before the people involved even realise it… and ours began in the most beautiful and unexpected way ..in my father’s church. I first saw him standing at the altar, playing the saxophone so passionately during the service. There was something about him that immediately caught my attention. The sound of the sax, the calmness in his presence, the way he carried himself with so much grace… my heart knew something before my mind could even explain it. For me, it was truly love at first sight.

What started with admiration soon blossomed into friendship, laughter, prayers, love, and a journey that has now become a beautiful 10-year marriage filled with God’s faithfulness. Over the years, we have grown together through every season… learning, building, praying, loving, and raising a beautiful family together. Ten years later, I still look at him with the same butterflies I felt the very first day I saw him with that saxophone in church. Our story is proof that sometimes, God places your forever right in front of you when you least expect it. Today, as we celebrate 10 years of marriage, our hearts are filled with gratitude, love, and excitement. Cheers to 10 years of love… and forever still to come. 🤍
