Sometimes, forever begins with a simple introduction… and a series of moments that don’t seem significant until you look back. ❤️
When Ike met Sam at a youth hangout in church, she had no idea that the handsome stranger she couldn’t stop noticing would one day become the love of her life. From a cheeky nickname and an “innocent” request for her number to a coffee date that almost never happened, every moment quietly led them to the beautiful forever they’re celebrating today.
Now, they’re melting our hearts with their dreamy white wedding photos, and the magic they share is impossible to ignore. From the lovely garden setting to the calm, joyful moments they shared, every frame is a beautiful reflection of a love that was always meant to be.
Enjoy their white wedding photos and love story below:

Their love story as shared by Ike:
We met in his church in October 2021. A friend of mine in the same church invited me to a youth hangout, and as soon as I saw him, I just knew something was going to happen. Obviously, as the demure, gentle person that I am, I didn’t say or do too much, but I did quietly go over to my friend to ask, “Who is that guy?” We had a nice conversation, but he did say he won’t remember me by name, so he’ll just call me glasses??? How rudeee but anyway, everyone there exchanged Instagrams…. including Sam and me.
Ike came through with that striking bridal glow 😍

Fast forward to December 2021, one of his friends who lived directly opposite me had a get-together for the anniversary of her business and invited me. That’s when we really started getting to know each other. We spoke about finances and investment, and I told him I had just started my investment journey. He then asked for my number so I could “teach him more” Little did I know that that was his tactic to get my number.
A gorgeous bride and her bridal squad

In April 2022, my friends had a paint n sip event. I already had my ticket, but I couldn’t attend. Sam and I were texting here and there, so I asked him if he was going, and he told me he couldn’t get a ticket because it got sold out. I told him I could give him my ticket, and he accepted and then said: “Can I take you out to thank you for the ticket?”. I was like, oh no, no need, no problem at all, you don’t need to do that. Then he was like, ” Oh, I insist, even if it’s just for coffee” In my head, I was like, okay, we’re just going for a friendship hangout/catchup lol.
All set and ready to say ‘I do’

Now planning this “friendship hangout” was a whole adventure – ah, so many cancellations from my end. I actually rate Sam for sticking it out with me because my reasons were baseless. We eventually went on our first date on the 29th of May 2022, and it was a very wholesome first date and the beginning of a beautiful relationship, including 1.5 years of long distance that led to us getting married on the 29th of May 2026- how crazy!! But WHOLESOME!

Their love story as shared by Sam:
So I met Ike at a church programme, shout out to Michaela (Ike’s friend) who invited her to my church. She was a lovely woman, but at the time I needed to go and fix up before I could pursue. I saw her again at my friend’s place, shoutout to Hillary. She mentioned she invested, and I hit her with the “teach me.” That’s how I got her number. I already knew how to invest and had been doing it longer than her, but you know how it goes.
Let’s check out the dapper groom

She later gave me a ticket to an event hosted by Ojibloom (shoutout Eni and Michaela). She couldn’t make it, and the tickets were sold out. Afterwards, I insisted on repaying her for the ticket, and that turned into our first date. Apparently, she cancelled on me three times before we actually had it, but I don’t remember; I focus on the positive. She chose the café since I was new to the city, but when we got there, they were closing. Nice start haha. Anyways sha, it got sorted, we walked to another place and got food there instead and then took a walk round the park
We went on a few more dates, and on one of them she said she wasn’t sure if it was even a date. I explained what was going on: this was very much a date, and the rest is history.

Of love, beauty, and everything in between!
