She and her cousins had gone on this trip to take a break, have fun and relax. On their itinerary was a pottery class, fate’s way of putting everything in place. Cyrus’ brother just happened also to be taking that class with her and immediately played matchmaker. He told Ronette she and Cyrus would get along perfectly, and he was absolutely correct! Their journey ever since has been blissful, and now, they get to spend the rest of their lives together!

It’s still hard to believe how everything unfolded so naturally, yet so swiftly. A few years ago, my cousins and I visited Accra to reconnect with family and take a break. What started as a simple trip turned into the beginning of something life-changing. One afternoon, we decided to join a pottery session. Amidst the laughter and clay-covered hands, my future brother-in-law mentioned his brother and, with a knowing smile, told me that he believed we would get along perfectly. When we finally met, everything just clicked. Our connection was effortless. What began with an easy conversation quickly grew into something deeper. That’s the most beautiful beginning I could have ever asked for.
