Love does have a way of finding you at the least expected time or place. A simple, unsuspecting encounter at school was what led to Adaku and Olusegun’s fairytale.

Olusegun was taking a stroll at the University of Lagos with friends, on his way to get something to eat, when he met Adaku. It was a divine coincidence because it was actually his friend who knew her and called out her name. Olusegun saw her turn to look for the caller and simply decided to approach her. This chance encounter was what led them to a beautiful friendship, and now, to choosing each other forever! To celebrate the big day on the way, the lovebirds have graced us with their charming pre-wedding photos. It’s all warmth and sweet love in each frame, and we can’t stop swooning over them. 😍

Their love story, as shared by Adaku: 

Olusegun had just returned from his undergraduate internship when his friends decided to take a stroll to Moremi Car Park to grab something to eat. He had a few things to sort out, so he told them he would catch up with them later. By the time he hurried to meet them, two of his friends were already walking ahead when one of them — a fellow Engineering student — suddenly called out to me as I was passing by, “Ada! Ada!” I turned briefly but didn’t see who had called me, so I simply continued walking back to my hostel. Moments later, he walked up to me and said, “ I wasn’t the one who called you, but since you looked back, I might as well say hi. ” That was how it all started. We became friends and remained that way for a while. Over time, our bond grew stronger, and we both realized our feelings were mutual. What began as a simple, unexpected encounter blossomed into something truly beautiful.
