Today’s sweethearts met at a mutual friend’s wedding in 2019. While in that atmosphere of love, what they did not know was that their own fairytale was already unfolding. They stayed in touch after the wedding, and what started as a simple connection soon blossomed into something beautiful.

We met when I came to Nigeria for a wedding in 2019. I was a bridesmaid, and he was a friend of the groom. I went back to London, and we followed each other on Instagram. Then COVID hit, and I didn’t come to Nigeria for 2 years, but he kept in contact through my DMs. I then returned for Christmas, and he invited me out with my friends. From that moment, he never let go, even when I went back to London, he continued to send me gifts, take me on holiday, and even come for trips to London to surprise me, then he proposed in February 2025. A very intentional man who knew what he wanted!
