A good friend will always point you in the right direction, and today, we are especially grateful for the mutual friend who pointed Sara and Tosin towards each other.

Their friend believed they would make the perfect match and, judging by the beautiful love story we are witnessing today, we can all agree that instinct was absolutely right!

The lovebirds met at a cute restaurant in London, kept in touch afterwards, and gradually built a beautiful foundation for their sweet love. Now, as they prepare to embark on this sweet journey to forever, we get to relish all the magic of their love through their stunning pre-wedding photos. Tosin and I were introduced through a mutual friend who thought we’d be a good fit due to our shared interests. After weeks of speaking over the phone, we decided to meet physically and met at a little, cute Indian restaurant in Battersea Park, London. We had a long walk around the Battersea river and bonded over our mutual upbringing in north eastern Nigeria and shared interests in family, church and tech. We got talking and continuously built the relationship.

Tosin officially asked me to be his girlfriend a few months later, again in a tiny, cute restaurant somewhere in Mayfair, before he proposed. I told him I am a cultured northern girl and my parents have to see him, know him and accept him before any proposals. He came to Nigeria in 2025 for that, and like the day, the rest is history. From the first meeting in Tosin’s words – I can assure you of two things, peace of mind and security, and he has never gone back on his words.
