We went to the same university and had mutual friends, but somehow we never got the chance to speak. We knew each other from a distance, but life simply didn’t bring us together at the time. Years later, we reconnected on Instagram. At first, it was just casual interactions and playful banter here and there until he finally asked to meet me. Although I was exhausted from the week and almost didn’t go, I decided to show up anyway. What was meant to be a simple breakfast date turned into effortless conversations, laughter, and a connection that felt so natural. Even though the date was short, it became the beginning of something beautiful for us.
