Now, they are choosing to spend the rest of their lives together, and we are super excited for them. They tied the knot in an intimate civil wedding ceremony, and to mark the moment, they had a fun “court wedding” shoot on a literal tennis court. Our love story began with God’s leading and grace. At the time, I was living in the United Kingdom while he was in Nigeria, and somehow, through God’s perfect orchestration, our paths crossed on Instagram. In a season where the Holy Spirit was leading me to share the gospel more boldly on my page, I remember feeling hesitant at first. Instagram felt like such a wide and unlikely space for something so personal and spiritual. But by God’s grace, I said yes. One day, I came across a post written by him on the topic “What is Salvation?” through a friend’s page. I did not even visit his profile first. I simply reposted it as part of my journey of being more vocal about Christ online. That repost led to a DM. The very first thing he said to me was, “Thank you for sharing the gospel.” And then he asked if he could call me. I said yes… and honestly, the rest is history.

From the very first phone call, the moment we heard each other’s voices, we both just knew. It was a deep conviction neither of us could explain naturally, but one we both recognised as God-given. From that moment on, everything unfolded so beautifully. What started through God’s leading blossomed into friendship, intentional love, and a relationship firmly rooted in Christ. At the core of our union is the
understanding that God is Love, and truly, He has been the foundation of our story every step of the way. Now, standing together as husband and wife, we still look back in awe at how God, in His beautiful way, brought two people together and wrote a story only He could have authored. We trust Him to sustain and complete what He started.
