For Manuela and Chiemerie, their paths crossed several times through mutual friends, and while they kept seeing each other on different occasions, neither knew that something beautiful was waiting just around the corner. Eventually, those encounters gave way to a first date, and let’s just say the rest is history! What began with familiar faces and passing moments blossomed into something special, bringing the Angolan beauty and her Nigerian prince charming to this beautiful chapter of their love story. Now, they are sealing their love in a gorgeous white wedding, and we couldn’t be happier to witness them walking down the aisle together. We actually knew each other on Instagram before we ever met in person because we had mutual friends. We met for the first time during a group bowling night in Poland. He had just moved to Poland from Italy, and I was still traveling back and forth between Poland and Portugal. I had an early flight the next morning, so I couldn’t stay long, but we talked. Nothing happened between us then because I knew he had a girlfriend at the time, though I was single. After I officially moved to Poland, he invited me and a group of people to go go-karting. He ran late, and he actually made me pay 99 PLN for my own ticket, which I still haven’t seen back to this day!

Did someone say, gorgeous bride?

I invited him to my 30th birthday party. He was still dating someone else at the time, so I didn’t pay too much attention to him romantically. Around March, I noticed he was liking all of my Instagram posts and stories. I posted a picture of a carousel near where we lived, asking if anyone wanted to join me since I wanted to go out and have fun. He messaged me saying that even though he’s afraid of heights, he’d come along just to keep me company. That message got us talking, and we went on our first official date to a concert at a philharmonica, followed by dinner. True to form, he was late for that as well! After that first date, we basically never looked back. Bringing our two worlds together, my Angolan roots and his Nigerian energy, we started spending as much time together as possible. I don’t think we’ve gone more than two days without seeing each other since.
