Every wedding look tells a story, and this one is perfect for the Igbo couple who want to honour their roots while embracing modern elegance.
Styled by Nuel Lawson and beautifully captured by Thomfelix Concept, this look is a celebration of Igbo culture reimagined through a contemporary lens. The traditional Isi Agu fabric is given a modern twist, with intricate detailing on the bride’s outfit and striking artistry on the groom’s outfit.
From the carefully selected accessories that pay homage to tradition to the flawless glam that elevates the entire aesthetic, every element comes together seamlessly to create a visual masterpiece. If you’re planning your traditional wedding, this styled shoot is sure to spark ideas and leave you swooning over the beauty of Igbo culture.
Here’s how the stylist describes the shoot:
Wedding looks are more than just outfits. They are memories, moments, and experiences that tell a couple’s love story through intentional design and artistry. For this look, every single detail was thoughtfully created from scratch. From the initial sketch concept to the final execution. We began the journey with an incredible fashion illustrator who brought the vision to life so beautifully, before handing it over to two exceptional designers, Laguna World for the groom and Adorn by GIO for the bride, who executed each piece with precision and elegance. To complete the story, we introduced a custom-made necklace beautifully crafted by Beadsbyhayolar, adding a unique touch that elevated the entire look. Seeing this vision, ambition, and creativity come to life so perfectly is truly unforgettable.
