Our story began in 2019 at a friend’s traditional wedding. We never spoke that day, but I couldn’t forget the young woman in the white dress. When her profile appeared on my Instagram feed a few days later, I didn’t hesitate to send her a message. Over the next few years, we stayed in touch from time to time, but life took us in different directions. Then, in 2023, while I was serving as the Best Man at my cousin’s wedding, I posted a funny Snap from the celebration. Gloria replied with a laugh, and what started as a lighthearted conversation soon became something much more. Our friendship grew into a relationship built on faith, laughter, and unwavering support.

Looking back, we realise our story was never about perfect timing; it was about God’s timing. What first began with a passing glance at someone else’s wedding became the beginning of our own love story. Exactly seven years later, surrounded by the people we love most, we stand together ready to begin forever. Some journeys don’t make sense at the moment, but every step has a purpose. This is more than a wedding; it’s the path God was writing all along. This is The Boakye Way.
