Who says love can’t show up at work? One minute, you’re going about a perfectly normal workday, and the next, love is looking you right in the eye!

This is exactly how Bukola met her soulmate, Zane. He had walked into her office to submit a proposal, but somewhere between business and “follow-up,” he noticed Bukola and decided he needed her number. Of course, the official reason was to follow up on his proposal, but we have a feeling he may have had another proposal in mind! 😂

Now, they’re embarking on a forever journey and serving us all the sweetness with their beautiful pre-wedding shoot. They look so cute together, and we are absolutely rooting for them.

The first time I saw him, I was at my first job during my service year, going about a normal workday. He came to the office to submit a proposal, but somewhere in between that, I caught his eye. He told me I was very beautiful; I thanked him, not thinking too much of it at the time. Before he left, he asked for my number to “follow up on his proposal”. 🤭

What started as a simple work interaction slowly turned into conversations. We got to know each other over time, but I wasn’t quite sure how serious he was. So we became friends and remained in each other’s lives in a real, steady way. After years of friendship, he asked me out, properly this time. Everything felt different. Clearer. Intentional, and the rest, as they say, is history. 😊

How did you know she was “The one”?
I met her at work. The moment I saw her, I knew she was special. Before leaving her office, I told her, “Do you know you’re so beautiful?” She smiled, and the rest is history. Through the years, we’ve shared life’s highs and lows, and every experience has only strengthened my conviction that I cannot imagine life without my beautiful Bukola. She is truly my greatest blessing.
What’s your favourite thing to do together?
EAT! 🤣 Without a doubt. We love trying new restaurants, rating the food like professional critics, stealing bites from each other’s plates, and arguing over whose meal tastes better. Our love language might be food. 😂
