It takes perfect timing to see the special package life has waiting for you. Nnajide had no idea that Chinenye was his old church member or that they lived close to each other, but here they are living in their fairytale love story.

The pieces started to fall into place in 2019 when Nnajide stumbled upon her Instagram photos and followed her. He started engaging in her posts, and soon a few conversations ensued. One random day, Chinenye called him, and it changed everything forever. From that call, they found out how close they had always been in each other’s world, yet never crossed paths. Time passed, and a love so beautiful bloomed from their friendship, and now it has led them to forever!

The lovebirds became one in a glamorous Igbo traditional wedding. Their stunning photos take us through the rich culture, charming style, and sweet love that filled the air. We lived minutes from each other… yet somehow never crossed paths. It wasn’t until 2019 that everything changed. One day, a picture of her popped up on my Instagram, and something made me pause. I sent the follow request. She always had the most interesting takes and conversations on her stories, so I’d reply here and there. Casual at first. Easy. Natural. I honestly don’t remember who asked for whose number… but I do remember the night she called me.

My heart jumped straight into my throat. And picking up that call? One of the best decisions of my life. We talked for hours about everything and nothing. Somewhere in between laughter and late-night honesty, we realised we had grown up near each other, and even attended the same church at one point. How had we never met? That conversation lasted all night. And I knew then… I had just connected with someone special. Her big personality. Her humor. The way she lights up every space she’s in. She captivated me completely. Since that “random” phone call in 2019, we’ve been inseparable. Sometimes love isn’t about distance. It’s about timing.
