Love has a fascinating way of unveiling itself. It could be anywhere, at any time… and in Dolapo’s case, at work. It all started when she sat in Kufre’s office chair. Quite fascinating indeed!

Kufre walked in and met her at his desk, and as he tried reclaiming his seat, the sparks flew. They both felt the chemistry instantly, but didn’t act on it at the time. Curious about who Kufre really was, Dolapo did some digging on Twitter and found out he was a great guy. Later on, Kufre would ask Dolapo out, and after some consideration, she said yes. Now the lovebirds in unison are saying yes to a lifetime of love! They’ve graced us with their beautiful pre-wedding photos, and we are oh-so happy to share them with you all. Their love shines so bright in every frame, and it’s only proof of their unbreakable bond, one not even distance could dim. 😍

Their love story, as shared by Dolapo: 

On January 5th, some years ago, Kufre walked into his internship office at Tech City, only to find a stranger sitting in his chair. That stranger was me. He introduced himself, held his ground, and politely reclaimed his seat. From our first interaction, there was some chemistry, but we didn’t want to be too forward. And me? I did what any focused woman would do. I started my “investigative journalism”, which led me straight to Kufre’s Twitter. And in the era where Twitter revealed everything, he passed the test: no red flags, just a simple man obsessed with football.

Kufre asked me to be his girl, but I turned him down at first because I felt we were on different paths of life. A few weeks later, I came back and said yes to him, knowing we would figure life out together. What started as a chance meeting in an office grew into something steady, intentional, and deeply rooted. Over the next nine years, we built a love that wasn’t just about the highs but about choosing each other through everything in between. And for three and a half years, we loved each other across countries and time zones, proving that distance doesn’t weaken love when commitment is strong. And that is what brought us here.
