One fateful day at UNILAG, Nafeesah and Osas met in the most unexpected way. What started as a simple act of kindness to a stranger blossomed into a beautiful love story, and seven years later, these lovebirds are ready to write a new chapter! ❤️

Osas went all out to create a proposal for the lady who had stolen his heart from the very beginning. Overlooking the beautiful city of Lagos, he set up a dreamy rooftop proposal complete with white candles, gorgeous flowers and an intimate ambience that made the moment even more magical. From the thoughtful details to the love that filled the air, it was a beautiful way to pop the question to his sweetheart of seven years. Now, with a resounding yes, forever is looking even sweeter for these two! They look so cute together, and we couldn’t be happier for these two!

Their love story, as shared by Osas:

It was my final year at UNILAG. I was heading back to my hostel after a party, feeling exhausted and ready to crash. But right outside Makama Hall (It was next to my own student hall), my night completely changed when two girls walked up to me. That was the first time I laid eyes on Nafeesah, and man, I completely froze. She was easily the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life. She started explaining some Instagram contest, asking if I could like a post to help their friend. Honestly, I was barely listening to what she was saying because I was so mesmerized. I just knew I had to try my luck, so I looked right at her and said, “I’ll do it, but only if I get your number.”

She and her friend just stared at me, completely caught off guard. To save face, I quickly laughed it off, told them I was just playing, and took the phone to do the whole like and follow routine. But as I handed the phone back and they turned to leave, I realized I couldn’t just let her slip away. I called out, asking about the number again. She turned around and reminded me I’d said I was joking. I looked right at her and said, “Yeah, but I really wasn’t. You’re gorgeous, and I genuinely want to get to know you.” Thankfully, it worked. From that night on, I was completely hooked. I found every single excuse to see her, and any chance I got, I took it. I couldn’t stop talking to her, and honestly, I just couldn’t get enough of looking at her beautiful face.

Their love story, as shared by Nafeesah:

It all started with an Instagram contest. One of my friends was in an online competition, and we were trying to help her get enough likes and follows to qualify. After asking everyone in the hostel with no real luck, we decided to take the mission outside. I was staying in Makama Hall in UNILAG, and just outside the hostel, there was always a busy sitting area where people would gist and hang out. We figured it would be the perfect place to find more people to help. So we all stepped out and split up to ask different groups. He was the very first person I approached. What I later found out was that he was walking back to his hostel from his final year week activities (I think Denim Day or something like that). Since our hostels were side by side, we stopped him and asked if he could like my friend’s Instagram post and follow the organiser’s page. He looked at me and said, “I’ll do it if you give me your number.” We paused like… excuse me? 😂

Then he laughed, said he was joking, took the phone, and did everything we asked. We thanked him and were about to leave when he said, “Wait… what about the number?” I reminded him he said he was joking, and he said, “I wasn’t joking. You’re really beautiful, and I’d like to get to know you.” Smooth, I can’t lie 😂🫶
We started talking and realised we both loved horror movies. Not long after, we went on our first date to see IT Chapter Two, and we had such a great time. And honestly… the rest is history.
