A Funny Post on Valentine’s Day Led Oluwaseun & Tobiloba to Forever Love!

There are different kinds of people on Valentine’s Day. Those spending time with their lovers, others enjoying the feels of the season from the sidelines… and Oluwaseun, who made a funny post about the day that eventually led her to a sweet love with Tobiloba.

Without any idea of what the future held, she had offered to be a “lover-for-hire” online, and Tobiloba came across this hilarious post. He had already made inquiries about her, so he slid into her DM with his own follow-up pick-up line, offering to take her out to dinner. It worked! Soon they found themselves on their first date in Chicago, which, by the way, was absolutely magical! The chemistry was immediate, and by the second date, Tobiloba already knew she was the one for him! Now the lovebirds are set to tie the knot, and we couldn’t be happier for them. Each frame of their stunning pre-wedding photos has us completely gushing over this next chapter of their love. 😍

Enjoy their pre-wedding photos and love story below:

Their love story, as shared by Oluwaseun:

It all started with a funny meme I posted on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2024. The meme was clearly a cruise joke, saying that if you needed a lover for that day, you could rent my services to oppress people. Shortly after, I got a DM from someone called “Saxy Doc” asking how much it would cost him to take me out to dinner. I replied, “Hmm, who is this, please?” I laughed and told him it would cost about 50,000 USD. He responded, “How about a lifetime of dinner dates with me?” I laughed again and told him he could not afford me, and that he was playing too much. Then he went on to say that a little bird told him I was such a sweetheart. Apparently, Saxy Doc had done his research before sliding into my DMs.

Before I knew it, he planned a trip to Chicago, and there he was sitting right in front of me. It turned out to be one of the best dates I have ever had. We talked for hours. I left that dinner with so many butterflies in my stomach and found myself already looking forward to the next day. He stayed for two more days, and we spent quality time together. Even though everything was going so well, I kept telling myself that it would all be over the moment he returned to Texas, so I decided to just enjoy the moment. On our second date, he told me he was going to marry me. I laughed at him because I did not believe him at all. He left a few days later, and I could not stop thinking about him. And that was how our love story began.

Their love story, as shared by Tobiloba:

Fell into her DMs from an Instagram post and somehow ended up falling for her for life. Crazy how one risky Valentine’s Day text can become the beginning of an endearing love story. Our first date still feels like yesterday, part murder interrogation, part fine dining experience. She came prepared with a long list of questions. At some point, I thought she might ask for my kidney or liver before dessert. Then she turned around and planned our second date the very next day. A full day of her wining and dining me. Na so hard guy just dey fall oo. By the end of that second date, I already knew I was going to marry this woman. Her poise, her kindness, her heart… limitless. And the story would not be complete without mentioning how absolutely blinding her beauty is. Arikemi, My Bulbous Cordis, Wife Material, 1 billion yards!
