Heads up! We’re still very much celebrating our sweet lovebirds, Toro and Timi. This time, it’s a virtual pass to their glamorous Yoruba traditional wedding.

From being mutual friends to a DM bringing them this far, love surely won for these two! It was indeed a beautiful ceremony, filled with rich culture and sweet love. How do we know this? It’s all in their lovely wedding photos! They had us giddy about their welcome beach party, and even more so with the regal elegance they served now on their special day. Toro made a gorgeous bride, and Timi was by her side, all dapper and stylish. The wedding rites were concluded, and they were officially united as one for love. Theirs is something truly special, and we can see it shine bright in every beautiful frame. 😍

Toro and I existed in each other’s circles long before we ever actually met. We had mutual friends, and because of that, she kept appearing in my Instagram stories through the people around her. I’d see her, click on her profile, linger for a moment, and then do absolutely nothing about it. I knew of her. I just never had the courage to say hi. Then one day, something shifted. After thinking about it for a few days, I sent a message. One message led to a three-hour conversation on the phone, flowing from topic to topic, learning from each other, laughing, and realising how much we saw the world the same way. We clicked instantly. Not just surface-level chemistry, we aligned on the things that actually matter. Ever since that conversation, she’s been my best friend. Now she’s my wife. I always tell her she’s my G, and I know that sounds funny, but I mean it in the deepest way possible. There is nothing I can’t talk to her about. Nothing I have to hide. She’s my person.
