The lovebirds met when Toyemi was in her first year of university. At first, it was just small talk and fleeting glances as acquaintances, but soon it grew into friendship. Along the line, this sweet friendship blossomed into something much more beautiful; it was truly an effortless switch! Now the lovebirds are preparing to spend the rest of their lives together, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Our love story began in 2015 during Toyemi’s first year of university. At the time, we were simply acquaintances, exchanging polite smiles and greetings whenever we saw each other at church or gatherings with mutual friends. Over time, those small interactions grew into a genuine friendship. Our paths kept crossing, conversations became easier, and before we knew it, we had built a friendship that felt natural and effortless. By 2019, we began spending more time together, and somewhere along the way, our friendship quietly blossomed into love. Looking back, it’s beautiful to see how something so simple unfolded into something so meaningful. What started with casual greetings grew into a deep friendship, and that friendship became the foundation of our love. Truly, it feels like God was writing our story all along, turning a simple friendship into forever. ❤️
