Choosing 10 Afrobeats songs that should be on your wedding playlist can really be overwhelming because there are too many beautiful/love related songs to pick from. All the songs on my list could easily be replaced with another due to their authenticity, appearance at weddings and listeners appreciation for the song.

However, I feel strongly about the shortlist because the list comprises of current and throwback songs that must be heard at weddings, songs that brought recognition to the genre and songs that transcends culture.
Going to a wedding without hearing one of these songs makes one question the credibility & skill set of that DJ.

Each of these songs, in their respective times, were/are groundbreaking and can easily put a smile on the faces of both the guests and bridal party when played. The truth is, each of these songs belongs to a category of throwbacks, current, cultural and “first dance” that any wedding playlist need to have!
