Before the Wedding

The beautiful Yewande contacted me early this year and booked the very next day without requiring a trial.

On the Wedding

I arrived on her wedding day at The Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London. After hairstylist – Avos hair finished off on her hair I began work.

Makeup Process

Makeup began with cleansing her entire face and neck with Micellar water followed with just MAC fix + spray on her face for hydration as she had very oily skin. EvitaJoseph brow pencils in Rich espresso & Chestnut brown were used to fill in her brows followed by MAC brow gel in show off. To compliment her eye colour I used eyeshadows all from Lorac pro eyeshadow palette. Followed by Inglot gel liner in 77 and natural mink lashes. Yewande has oily skin, for this reason, I used Ponds oil control vanishing cream for very oily skin. This product is quite thick so I normally warm it at the back of my hand before applying with my fingers.

The foundation used was Lancome Teint Idole Ultra in 14 & 15, followed by Kevyn Aucoin super natural concealer in the shade 9.  This was set using Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Medium deep.  For added coverage, I used a fluffy brush to apply all over her face MAC Studio FIX powder in NW50 & 55. On her cheeks, the blush I applied was MAC in Ambering rose. The highlight I used on the highest points on her face was Becca shimmering skin perfector in Topaz followed by MAC Studio fix powder in NW58 to contour. The look was finished off on her lips starting with NYX lip pencil in Dark brown. Followed with Dose of colour liquid lipstick in Stone and MAC lip glass in Nyphette which looked so gorgeous against her skin tone. How beautiful does Yewande look?
