It’s a known fact that consistency brings great rewards, and in Damilola’s case, a beautiful love story with Busayo. Their journey to forever love has been 8 years in the making since the lovebirds crossed paths in university.

Busayo was on her way to an exam and didn’t have enough time to indulge Damilola. Being a man with a plan, he reached out to her via Instagram nonetheless. He kept proving himself to Busayo, never letting down, never giving up. Eventually, his sweet nature and intentionality won Busayo’s heart. Now the lovebirds have tied the knot in a beautiful white wedding! Some days ago, they had us swooning over their pre-wedding photos. Presently, we’ve got front-row tickets to this ceremony with their stunning wedding photos. Busayo made a truly gorgeous bride, and Damilola was indeed a dapper groom. The way they look at each other has us in our feels, and we know for sure that what they share is absolutely amazing. 😍

Dami and I first crossed paths in 2018 at university. It was one of those fleeting moments that felt ordinary at the time but would later mean everything. I was rushing to an exam, moving too fast for him to stop me. But something about that moment stayed with him. Determined not to let it slip away, he went searching… and somehow found me on Instagram. He reached out, again and again. I didn’t respond at first, and even when I finally did in 2020 out of sheer boredom, I wasn’t ready for love. I pulled away, even blocked him at one point. But Dami… he never gave up on me. In the most gentle and intentional way, he kept showing up, finding ways to reconnect, reminding me that some things are worth waiting for. Then came the moment that changed everything. He told me he had a gift for me and asked for my home address. I thought it would arrive at my door through a dispatch rider … but instead, he came himself. He drove three hours to my parents’ house and poured his heart out.
