From LinkedIn to Locked In Forever! Jackleen & Hilary Say “I Do”

Love has a way of finding you when you least expect it. For Jackleen and Hilary, it arrived quietly through a LinkedIn connection and blossomed into something truly special.

Five years ago, Jackleen had been planning to attend the University of Northampton, so when she saw Hilary’s promo video about the school, she sent him a message on LinkedIn. What they didn’t know at the time was that this would mark the beginning of their sweet love story. Their conversations moved to Instagram and gradually deepened as the months passed. By the end of the year, Jackleen and Hilary started dating! Now the lovebirds have tied the knot in a beautiful civil wedding in the United Kingdom and it was such a delight to behold. Jackleen looked so gorgeous in her chic dress, and Hilary matched her fly elegantly in his crisp suit. This chapter is one filled with so much love and happiness, and we couldn’t be more excited for them. 😍

Our journey began in the most unexpected way when we connected on LinkedIn in 2021. Jackleen had come across a promo video I created for the University of Northampton while considering it for her master’s degree, and she reached out with a few questions to help guide her decision. What started as a simple exchange quickly grew into regular conversations.
Before long, we were chatting on Instagram, and when she moved to the UK, we began spending more and more time together. As the days passed, we realised how much we had in common, from our values to our outlook on life and the way we saw the world. What began as a chance encounter soon became something far deeper. By the end of that year, we knew we had found a home in each other, and on December 29, 2021, I asked Jackleen to be my girlfriend. Since then, our love has only continued to grow. I still can’t believe how lucky I am, grateful that we found each other and excited for all the chapters still to come as we walk through life together.
