Joshua crossed paths with Titilope in primary school, and even though life took them on different paths, she had already secured a special place in his heart, one he wasn’t willing to let go of. He carried that silent crush over the years, and now, 20 years later, what started as a childhood crush has blossomed into a beautiful fairytale. They kept in touch through the years, and somewhere along the way, they found a love worth holding on to. Now, they are ready to embark on a forever journey together, and we are super pumped!

Today, these lovebirds are serving us sweet doses of romance with their pre-wedding shoot, and we can’t get enough. It’s indeed beautiful to see how their love has blossomed, and we are so rooting for them! 😍

Some love stories begin with a glance. Ours began with twenty years of waiting. Long before I understood what love was, there was a little girl named Titilope who quietly captured my admiration. We were just children in primary school, and while life took us in different directions through secondary school, university, and adulthood, she was never far from my thoughts. She was one of the first people I searched for when Facebook became popular, and every year, I made sure I never missed wishing her a happy birthday.

For years, I admired her from a distance, believing she was far beyond my reach. More than anything, I treasured our friendship and never wanted to risk losing it. So I waited, prayed, and trusted God to reveal His timing. In 2022, we finally spent time together in a way that changed everything. What I thought would be a simple day between friends became the moment I realized I could truly see a future with her. Still, I sought God’s direction before taking the next step. After much prayer—and one very unexpected phone call asking for her genotype—I received the peace I had been praying for.

As I got to know Titilope more deeply, I discovered that her beautiful heart far surpassed the admiration I’d carried for so many years. She challenges me to grow, encourages me to pursue God’s purpose, and loves with a sincerity that is both rare and inspiring. Through every conversation, every lesson, and every season, she’s helped shape me into a better man. Looking back, I can only see God’s hand at work. What began as the quiet admiration of a little boy has become a lifelong friendship, a love rooted in Christ, and now, the incredible blessing of calling her my wife. If this isn’t God’s perfect timing, I don’t know what is. The little girl I admired all those years ago is now the woman I get to spend forever with—and I truly believe our best chapters are still ahead.
