Bukola Had Her Eye on Her Brother’s Friend, So He Decided to Play Matchmaker!

You’ve probably heard the saying, “Be your brother’s keeper,” but in Bukola’s case, it was all about being her sister’s keeper! She had playfully teased her brother about his friend, Fawaz, and how she was beginning to take an interest in him. 😍

Little did she know, her brother was paying attention and was more than ready to play Cupid. From one DM to another, what started as a little sibling matchmaking soon blossomed into something beautiful, and before long, Bukola and Fawaz became inseparable. Now, they’ve chosen each other for forever and sealed their love with an intimate civil wedding. Today, they’re giving us a glimpse into their beautiful celebration with their civil wedding photos, and we can’t get enough! From the sweet moments to the chic details, every frame captures the joy of two people who found love with a little help from family.

Enjoy their civil wedding shoot and love story below:

Their love story as shared by Bukola:

I met my man through my brother. One day, my brother posted him on his story, and I was like, “Ah ah, this boy fine ooo!” So I quickly slid into my brother’s DM asking questions: his age, if he was in a relationship, and all that. But honestly, it was all cruise for me because I wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time, I was simply admiring a fine boy. Meanwhile, my brother took me seriously.

Little did I know that this fine man was actually looking for a serious relationship. Not long after, he followed me on Instagram, slid into my DM, introduced himself, and we started chatting. We kept in touch, but the vibe just wasn’t vibing. Then one day, he asked if he could call me. I said yes, and we ended up talking for almost an hour, and somewhere during that call, something changed. I thought to myself, “Hmm… maybe I should actually give this a chance.” From that day, we started talking more and more. One conversation became many, friendship turned into love, and the rest, as they say, is history.

They also had a Yoruba engagement, and their photos are so stunning!
