This Double Bun Hairstyle is a Must See Edo Beauty Inspo

Who really does not want to glow and have all eyes on them at their wedding, it’s your wedding after all.

Knowing how beautiful and regal Edo brides are dressed and adorned for the traditional wedding ceremony, we think it is necessary that the same amount of focus should be placed on the bride’s facial looks. This bridal beauty look on the beautiful Sophie Alakija is giving us all the regal bride inspiration you need. Now if you are looking to swap the regular Edo wrapper for something trendy, then stay till the end of the feature.

Do check out more looks here and then tell us what you think in the comments.

Here’s how the makeup artist, Abisola of Makeupbyashabee describes the look

Sophie’s traditional look is that of a modern Edo bride. We tried to switch things up a bit and that’s why she’s not wearing the regular edo red wrapper. The dress was made differently and the hair is also not the regular edo updo hairstyle in a bun.

And on the hair, Hairstylist Tobbiestouch shares a little detail on the hair:

Sophie is wearing a loosely braided side-part infused into a low bun. This style can be described as a soft, classy, not-too-structured, timeless look. I came about this style based on her personality and look. Although she is wearing a side part, I took the braided loose swipe totally off her face to show her beautiful facial features. Look inspired by Cartoon character “ELSA” in the movie – Frozen. Elsa had a blend of braid, bun, and updo make for a tidy, inventive style.
