We met quite unexpectedly when I accompanied my sister on an errand to meet her friend at Bubblin Tea. For him, it was evidently love at first sight, so much so that the very next day, he pleaded with my sister to bring me along because he simply had to see me again. We met at Vanilla Restaurant, and at some point, he asked me to step out with him to “collect something.” My sister jokingly warned him not to kidnap me, a moment that still makes me smile. I followed him, assuming we were meeting someone, only to discover that he had bought flowers… for me. And that was only the second day we had known each other.

On our way back, he gently took my phone and called his, ensuring we would stay in touch. That same week, we went on a double date with my sister and her friend, and our conversations began to flow effortlessly, stretching into long phone calls. Almost immediately, his intentions were clear. From the very beginning, he spoke of marriage not casually, but with a sincerity and certainty that left no doubt about how serious he was about me.
