Mariam and Michael met at church, but while Mariam’s heart was only beginning to notice him, Michael had already noticed her years before. Soon, they discovered they lived close by, and their church rides became the perfect opportunity for friendly conversations, laughter, and eventually, something much more. But Michael didn’t just win her heart with sweet conversations. He completely stole it when he became her personal caregiver during a time when she was sick.

That beautiful moment became a deeper confirmation that perhaps they were meant to be. Now, it’s all love in the air as Mariam and Michael embark on their journey to forever. Their pre-wedding shoot is a breath of fresh air, and you sure want to take it all in as you scroll.

Michael and I met at church (The Hope Nation Church). My eyes were truly opened to him at our 2023 retreat, Recalibrate. It turns out he had noticed me back in 2021; I just had no idea. One evening after service, I stepped away from prayer to help a friend, and there he was… eating, completely unbothered, while everyone else fasted. I laughed and told him I loved seeing people eat because I’m a foodie myself. That was the beginning.

We soon found out we lived close by, so church rides turned into friendly conversations, and friendly conversations turned into us. He officially asked me to be his girlfriend on May 2nd, 2024. One moment that stays with me: when I fell sick, he slept in the hospital caring for me and still went to work every morning throughout my admission, never complained, and always advocated for me. He proposed a week after my birthday in September 2025, and now we can’t wait to walk through forever together.
