Their love story as shared by Oluwatobi:

You see, ehn, this life is funny. I lived next door to this fine guy for a couple of years, but make I no lie, I didn’t even send him like that. He was just one of those fine boys you see once in a while when you’re rushing out with a scarf on your head and no cream on your legs. We only ever spoke during NEPA wahala, “Do you have light?” here and there. But apparently, the guy don carry me for mind since back then. Imagine my shock when one day, out of nowhere, this guy started sending me reels on IG.

Then another one. Then another. Next thing, it became routine, my daily entertainment was courtesy of one guy I barely knew. Nothing romantic o, just silly memes and those skits that’ll make you wheeze-laugh at 2am. And me I was just… watching, laughing, scrolling. Silent communication, no words. Just vibes. Fast forward, life took me to UK I heard less from my fine boy neighbour Until one random day, this guy just landed in my DM like: “Hey… I’m coming to your city next weekend. Any chance you’d be down to host me?” I read the message like three times. My spirit was like “ehn?? Who born you?”

But lowkey, my heart was like “Say yes. SAY YES.” And somehow… I agreed. No questions. No overthinking. I cleaned my house like EFCC was coming for inspection. Guy showed up… and let me tell you, my eyes opened. This wasn’t just “Reel Guy” anymore. This was FINE BOY REAL GUY. Looking all grown, fresh, well-packaged. Be like UK weather did him some good. And that his confidence? 10/10 but not arrogant. Familiar face, new feelings. The moment he entered my house, the atmosphere changed. We talked. We laughed. In fact, I laughed so much, I started regretting not giving this guy attention back in Naija.

We talked deep into the night, gist just dey flow. From family drama to childhood crushes to our ridiculous dreams. Everything just clicked. I no go lie? I started catching feelings. Premium ones. I caught myself staring like “ah, omo this guy fine o.” And he too dey look me like say I be shawarma he wan chop. But alas, Sunday came. Baba had to go. His Uber was downstairs. Bags by the door. My heart was misbehaving. Still, I kept my cool. I didn’t say anything. Just waved like say I no dey die inside. But as soon as he entered that train, wahala started.

Me: Texting immediately like FBI on duty Small talk first. I was forming, you know… easing in. Then boom, he dropped the bomb.
Him: “I actually had a crush on you back in Naija. But we didn’t talk much, so I just suppressed it.” I looked at the message and screamed. Then I replied with premium boldness.
Me: “So do you want to keep it suppressed or what? Because uncle, I like you.”
And just like that… babe shot her shot. He caught it. Slam dunk.

And the rest, my dear, they say… is history. The journey? Juicy. The love? Madness. Us? History in the making.
