Before the Wedding

Pamela! What a lovely client to have. Easy going with a beautiful heart. She contacted and booked me without requiring any trial.

On the Wedding

On her wedding day, I arrived at her wedding prep location in Stevenage, waited for her hairstylist, Platinum Tresses to finish up before starting work.

Makeup process

Pamela has combination skin,  so I began with my usual cleansing routine with Garnier Micellar water and MAC fix +. Her brows were filled in using Evita Joseph brow pencil and combed through with a clear brow gel. With her eye look, I can’t remember the precise shades used but she had sent me a picture of what she wanted and it was a look I created using the Violet Voss eye palette. I wanted to customise the look to suit her eye shape so I tweaked it a bit with other shades from both my MAC customised eye shadow palette and Lorac pro eye palette. This was finished off with Loreal waterproof black liquid liner and mink lashes.

When it was time to prime her skin I used Becca ever matte poreless primer and Charlotte Tilbury wonder glow primer. I then colour corrected the dark pigmentation around her jaw area using MAC orange corrector. For her face, I used the NARS all day luminous foundation in MACAO. When I wanted to conceal and also highlight under her eyes I used a mix of NARS creamy concealer in Amande and Caramel. This was set using Laura Mercier loose setting powder in Translucent. This was also used to set the rest of her face.

Now to add definition to her face, I contoured using MAC studio fix foundation in NW55 and highlighted using Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Bronze. Then I used the NARS in Taos blush. On her lips, I  lined using MAC lipliner in Cork around the edges and filled in using MAC lipstick in Taupe, finished off with MAC lipgloss in Dreamy.

What a stunner! Thank you so much for trusting me and being such a lovely person. God bless your marriage.
