From warm conversations to matchmaking attempts from mutual friends, they gave love a chance and discovered a rare kind of magic. Now, they are set to spend the rest of their lives together as they exchanged vows in a heartwarming white wedding ceremony. They both slayed their outfits and complemented each other in every way. Our love story began in the most unexpected, yet divinely orchestrated way. We first crossed paths at a fellowship I attended with two of my friends. As it happened, Joel already knew one of them. When he saw us together, he quietly confessed to my friend that he liked me. At the time, I was talking to someone else, so when she passed along his interest, I didn’t think much of it. Not long after, that situationship came to an end. In what I can only call a God-ordained coincidence, I began attending his church. It didn’t take long for people around us to notice what we hadn’t yet realized. Our friends, mutual connections, and even our pastors all believed we would be perfect for each other.

They tried, in their own little ways, to matchmake us, and the gentle nudges kept coming. Then, on a fateful day, one of our mutual friends finally brought us together through a video call. That simple call became the spark that changed everything. From that moment on, our story began to unfold, filled with laughter, faith, growth, and love. Looking back now, I see God’s hand in every detail. What started as a series of “coincidences” was really His perfect timing at work. It has been the most beautiful journey with my match-made-in-heaven husband. Sometimes I wish we had met sooner, but I truly believe God knew the right time for our paths to cross-and l’m forever grateful that they did.
