From Coursemates to Soulmates! Enjoy Mimmi & Kaycee’s Igbo Trad

One of the many beautiful things about the university asides from education is the relationships that are formed which many times, extend beyond the four walls of the campus. Just like everywhere else, the university makes a great avenue to also find love! Mimmi and Kaycee certainly agree with us.

The two started as coursemates and a beautiful friendship was formed. Years down the line, that friendship metamorphosed into so much more. Now it’s happy ever after for the lovebirds and we can’t help but be elated for them! They tied the knot in a beautiful Igbo traditional wedding ceremony with family, friends and loved ones present to share in their joy. The love in their eyes and unmistakable joy on their faces reinforces our stance that love is indeed, very beautiful!

Enjoy their traditional wedding portraits below.

Their love story as shared by Mimmi:

We were course mates in the University and at the time of graduation in 2012, we had absolutely no idea we’d be a couple. We remained very good friends after graduation and he was the only one I could rely on for almost everything that made my life easier.

Fast forward to the lockdown. I advised myself to begin to withdraw so I don’t get broken having to deal with the fact that he’s not any younger and would likely get into a serious relationship possibly soonest.

Let’s also check out Kaycee and his squad…

How sweet love is!

For the second look, Mimmi is simply perfect in purple!

Kaycee came repping in his Isi-agu

It’s a joyous ever after!
