Love can be incredibly powerful — powerful enough to overcome barriers, bridge distances, and bring two hearts together exactly as they are meant to be.

In Mistura and Habeeb’s case, time zones, geographical distance, and even delayed responses couldn’t stand in the way of their love story. Their journey began thanks to a friend who shared Mistura’s Instagram profile with Habeeb, boldly declaring that he had found him a wife… and since you are reading this now, you can tell he was absolutely right!

From their very first “hello,” the connection was undeniable. Despite being miles apart, neither of them could resist the magnetic pull drawing their hearts closer together.  Today, they are serving us vintage vibes and beauty with their pre-wedding shoot, and we can’t get enough. Their love story has become a sweet symphony, proving that when two people are meant to be, no distance is too far and no obstacle is too great.  ❤️

Their love story as shared by Mistura:

It all started in early 2018 when Habeeb’s guy, Moh, sent him a DM with my profile and a bold claim: “I found you a wife.” Habeeb, being a fine boy with sense, carried the matter for head. He sharply clicked the follow button but admired from a distance for a whole year! After a million and one permutations, he finally gathered the courage to type the first “hello” in January 2019…

Our first date was a virtual call. I bought a new dress for it (even though I eventually ended up wearing something else). Love at first sight or whatever love people call it. We connected on the spot! The gist flowed, laughter was constant, and we knew we wanted to be more… After that, we continued our gist on and off and even stopped talking altogether at some point. Of course, I used that typical “fine girl” vibes delayed response all through, behaving like a peacock and making him wait for his replies! I even gave him the wrong address at one point, but that is a story for another day. Anyway, the connection was too strong to ignore. Even with the distance, our late-night calls kept the spark alive…

Habeeb would later fly from the US to London to finally “shoot his shot” in person. 7 years after the first “hello”, we have now mastered the long-distance duet like champions, proving that what God has joined together, no Atlantic Ocean can put asunder. Ours is a story of patience, friendship kindled across time zones, and choosing “us” again and again long before the official question. Here we stand, at the start of everything, ready to turn that choice into a lifetime of shared sunsets and a love that deepens with every tomorrow.
