Nike had been having a rather stressful day when a handsome stranger struck up a conversation that lifted her spirits. Little did she know that this would be the beginning of a friendship that would grow into something much deeper. Years of conversations, laughter and happy moments later, these lovebirds are ready to spend forever together. Today, we get to celebrate their beautiful journey through their intimate civil wedding shoot, and we are loving it. Our story began in 2017, with a simple bus ride home. I had attended an event that day and was feeling weighed down by academic pressure. Olaolu noticed and struck up a conversation with me. What started as a simple conversation soon led to an exchange of contacts and, eventually, a beautiful friendship. For years, we remained friends, sharing conversations, laughter and countless little moments. Somewhere along the way, our friendship grew into something deeper, and in 2025, Olaolu asked me to spend forever with him. My answer was an easy yes. And now, from that unexpected conversation in 2017 to this beautiful moment in 2026, we are excited to begin our forever together, surrounded by the people we love.
