From Classroom to Forever! Onyinye & Michael’s Dallas White Wedding is Pure Magic

Hey guys! Remember Onyinye and Michael? The lovebirds who wowed us with their thrilling Edo-Yoruba traditional wedding? They’re back again, and this time, they’re serving us even more love from their white wedding.

Their love story was a divine orchestration that began when Michael signed up for an accounting class he didn’t even need. Now, 7 years later, he’s signing up for a lifetime of love with the lady who stole his heart in that very class. They had a beautiful white wedding in Dallas, surrounded by lush greenery and the serene beauty of nature. Onyinye dazzled effortlessly in her stunning dress, and Michael looked every bit the dashing groom by her side. Their wedding was filled with so much love and beauty, and you sure want to soak in all the magic as you scroll. 😍

Enjoy their white wedding photos and love story below:

Their love story, as shared by Onyinye:

It all began in the spring of 2019 at the University of North Texas, a season that, looking back now, was clearly divinely orchestrated. Folarin and I were both enrolled in Accounting 2301, not by choice, but by faith. At the time, I was that girl, school straight to work, no distractions, and quietly walking through a season of heartbreak unknown to many. Folarin was also going through the same. One day, we happened to sit next to each other in class, completely unaware that we were both Nigerians. It took a class activity to reveal that connection, and from there, we exchanged numbers. Now, let me be honest, this was not love at first sight. That would be a very big lie 😅. But it was the beginning of a chapter God had already written.

Stunning bridey in pink! 😍

After that class, I stepped outside and cried real tears. Not because Folarin is a Yoruba boy ooo 😂 (if you know, you know), but because my heart was heavy. Folarin texted to say class had started, and when I told him I was in tears, he gently asked, “Do you need company?” As a proper Nigerian Igbo babe, I replied, “Abeg NOOOOO” 😂. Small shakara must be applied. Plus, why would a man I barely knew witness catarrh running down my nose? Mba nu! Still, that moment stayed with me. There was something about his kindness, quiet, respectful, steady. A kindhearted stranger. A vessel of comfort. And his voice? Sweeter than Mr Biggs and Tantalizers combined 😌.

Onyinye made a gorgeous bride 😍

From there, one thing led to another. We spent time together, went to a party, and eventually I met his dad, who, by the way, informed me that Folarin had feelings for me before Folarin ever did 😂. It felt like an interview when his dad asked, “So, how do you feel about my son?” I answered honestly, very honestly, but that part stays between God and me 😄. Somewhere between late-night calls, endless gist, church visits, prayers, and friendship, I realised I had fallen deeply in love. No parachute, no warning 😂. Loving Folarin was easy. Being loved by him was even easier. Our first official date was on December 4, 2019, at the Dallas Zoo. I dressed my absolute best, heels and a short dress, because why not? Only for winter to almost finish me 😭. Still, Folarin was the perfect gentleman, and that day became one of my favourites.

Take a look at the dapper groom himself! 😍

From there, the rest truly became history. Families met. Love deepened. Faith anchored us. And after five years of friendship and dating, by God’s grace, we got engaged on September 29, 2024. The proposal took place in a movie theatre in The Colony, and it was breathtaking. Truly God-ordained. I once told my friend that to surprise me, they would need the Holy Spirit’s help, and clearly, they listened 😭. It was one of the best days of my life. Our love story is a testimony of God’s grace. In fact, Folarin did not even need the credit he attended UNT for. He later transferred and completed his degree elsewhere, proof that God placed him there for one purpose: for us to meet. “He makes all things beautiful in His time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11.

We love a well suited-up squad 😍

Decor so breathtaking for a love so beautiful 😍
