Hey there, BellaNaija Weddings fam! It’s the start of a new week, and we’re here with another dose of sweetness — and it’s all thanks to Sarah and Adeyinka!
Their fairytale began when Adeyinka’s sister, who was also Sarah’s roommate, decided to play Cupid. She had heard Sarah talk about her ideal man, and when she realised her brother checked almost every box, she knew they just might be the perfect match. Talk about knowing your sibling and your friend! Thankfully, her matchmaking instincts were spot on, and now, Sarah and Adeyinka are set to spend the rest of their lives together. Their white wedding was so magical, and we can feel the warmth in every frame. We are sure you’ll feel it too as you scroll.
Enjoy their white wedding photos and love story below:

Their love story as shared by Sarah:
Our story began in 2016 when I was in university. I met Yinka through his younger sister, who at the time was my hostel mate. While gisting one day, I mentioned that my spec was light-skinned guys, and she immediately told me about her single brother. She gave him my number, and shortly after, he called asking, “Is this really Sarah?” because his sister was such a prankster! From that first conversation, talking to Yinka felt so easy. He was funny, honest, kind, and intentional.
Sarah made such a gorgeous bride 😍

We started dating shortly after and quickly became inseparable. In 2018, Yinka moved to Canada for his master’s degree, and we were aware of the challenges that came with long-distance relationships, but we believed in our love and were determined to make it work. I prayed for God to keep us strong, and He answered that prayer. In 2020, I also moved to Canada for my studies, and our love continued to grow. After years of loving and growing together, Yinka proposed in 2025 at my favourite place, the beach, which was in Cancun, Mexico. It was such a special moment and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.

All set and ready to say ‘I do’

Their love story as shared by Adeyinka:
My sister had never let me date any of her friends, so I knew Sarah was special when she introduced us. I started making excuses to visit my sister at school when I was really looking for an excuse to spend time with Sarah. Being around her felt different, and I always felt at peace with her. I knew I was in love with Sarah because one of my biggest fears when leaving Nigeria was losing her. Her love reassured me that everything would be okay. We had our ups and downs, but we always communicated, worked through our challenges, and chose each other. Sarah also brought me closer to God, which made our journey even more meaningful.
