Issa Sweet Kenyan Love Story with Ivy and Cyrus

You know what? We are bringing you a love story straight from Kenya.

Ivy and Cryus are giving us sweet loving Kenyan vibes with their pre-wedding and we are so having it. After meeting while they were teenagers at a summer camp and eventually dating when they were in college. Their love story is truly a dream come true.

We love how their pre-wedding shoot shows off something they both appreciate and admire. So apart from their love story, you get to enjoy a bit of nature and the ocean from each picture of their pre-wedding shoot. Oh, did we mention, Cyrus also popped the question while they were taking in the ocean view at the mountain top? Sweet!

Enjoy their pre-wedding shoot as they countdown to the #ICLove2019 wedding happening in less than a month from now. You can also read more love stories here.

Here’s how they met according to Ivy:

Cyrus and I met at a summer camp when we were teenagers and became great friends. Then in college, our friendship grew into romance. We continued to build our relationship through the ups and downs of college and building our careers. On our 8 year anniversary weekend, we decided to go on a hike near San Francisco, California because we both love nature and the ocean.

Cyrus told me he found a scenic hiking route with a beautiful ocean view at the peak of the trail. It was a long and tiring hike but the beautiful ocean view when we reached the top was worth it. I was admiring and taking in the view when I turned around he was down on one knee proposing! It was the most beautiful and emotional day. We will be getting married close to our 10 year anniversary on April 13, 2019.

Our pre-wedding shoot was taken by the talented Lin and Jirsa Photography. As I said, we love the outdoors, nature, and the ocean. We wanted that to reflect in our pictures. Locations include Mission San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Beach, California.
